DOVER ATHLETIC have been accused of "firing playground shots" after a star snubbed them for rivals - despite supposedly already signing for them.
The non-league side have claimed that Ademola Shokunbi had agreed a contract before then U-turning and signing for Dulwich Hamlet.

In response to Shokunbi being announced at Dulwich, Dover released a statement on Twitter in which they insisted they are now looking forward to announcing transfers of players that "want to play for the club".
A statement read: "With the news filtering through that Ademola Shokunbi has now infact signed for Dulwich Hamlet, we look forward to announcing players who actually want to play for the club."

He then argued that club does not want that "type of player".
He added: "Following the news today of Ade Shokunbi, we had agreed in principal and the forms were signed prior to submitting to the league.
"He missed our first training session with no communication as to why. He then failed to attend our first game against Aylesford.
"These are not the type of players the fans deserve or we want at this football club.

"I understand the frustrations at this but we are looking at people who will run through a brick wall, which is what you deserve."
While fans on Twitter were in awe of the situation and the messages being posted.
One Tweeted: "Year 6 playground shots firing here."
A second wrote: "The white cliffs of Dover have been confirmed to be made of pure salt."

After being announced at Dulwich, Shokunbi admitted that he "couldn't wait" to join the club after hearing of their interest.
He told club media: "When I found out there was interest from Dulwich I was very excited and couldn't wait to get the deal done and I'm happy to be here now.
"Last season was a successful one for me on a personal note, which I wasn't expecting when I was sat out with injury at the start of the season, but to end it with a promotion was special, and now I want to do the same this year with Dulwich."
