Struggling with your appearance can have a catastrophic impact on your mental health; an experience Lee Meadows is all too familiar with after losing his hair at just 23 years old.

Lee said that losing his locks at such a young age knocked his confidence massively, and as a result, he gained weight.

But thanks to an incredible hair transformation, he's been inspired to fuel his body with healthy foods again and feels better than ever. It's finally brought back a smile to his face as he feels like himself again.

Lee, from Nuneaton, shared his transformation on TikTok, and people are amazed at how different he looks, with millions of people watching the inspirational bloke.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, he said he was pleased with the "massive change" the hair transplant brought.

"It is literally the best feeling", he said. "I can't even explain the instant confidence changes. I have lost five stone and I have got myself a partner, it is the first relationship I have had in 12 years."

He said that "everything is falling into place" now he feels more confident with his looks, and he's even put his promotions down to the fact that he "feels better" in himself.

In his early 20s, Lee said that he hit "rock bottom" when his hairline receded and hair started falling from the crown of his head. He then started to develop an unhealthy relationship with food and alcohol.

His friend's remarks about his thinning hair didn't help, and it forced him to try many solutions such as tablets, creams, sprays, and oils.

But in 2019 he went to a hair company and paid £900 for a hair system, a cap covered in real hairs that is glued to your head. Lee now refits the system himself and spends on average £50 a month maintaining a full head of hair - a price that's well worth it in his eyes.

Referring to his transplant, and showing off his incredible transformation online, he said: "Even if I help one person then it would be sound."
