ALAN Titchmarsh broke down in tears as he heard about a dad's heart-breaking diagnosis on Love Your Garden.

The latest episode of the ITV show took an emotional when the gardening expert met with a family to help them transform their yard.

In Nottinghamshire, Alan met Daniel Bradbury, 32, and his wife and kids.

While talking to the dad's children, Alan made a devastating discovery.

When designing the outdoor space, Alan told his team that Daniel was a landscape gardener when he got diagnosed.

Suddenly Alan was overtaken with emotions and started to cry. "He's one of ours isn't he.." he murmured, faltering.

Trying to gain his composure, he added: "As one man of soil to another, I'm determined to give Daniel and his family a garden to be proud of."

Fans were also left in tears as they watched and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
