A primary school is grieving after a ‘beloved’ teacher died suddenly of a cardiac arrest.
Emily Rose Browning, 24, was described as ‘kind, caring, and beautiful’ in a tribute by loved ones.
She taught at Gladstone Primary school in Cardiff before her death in December last year, where she left a ‘lasting impact’ on the pupils in her care.
Her boyfriend Jack Weston, who said he had met her at Cardiff University students’ union and she was his ‘soulmate’, organised a fundraiser to create a rose garden in her memory at the school.
The JustGiving page reads: ‘The cruelty of her passing has been heartbreaking for all of her family, friends, and everyone who knew her.
‘She was a kind, caring, beautiful young lady who lived life to the full, and the happiness she brought to those who loved her will be forever eternal.’
Emily, of Somerset, had settled in Cardiff having gained a criminology degree and masters in psychology before embarking on her teaching career.

She worked at a ‘wide variety of schools all across South Wales, helping to shape so many young minds along the way’, her fundraiser said.
Gladstone Primary said: ‘We are deeply saddened by the loss of Emily, a beloved teacher at Gladstone, whose kindness, passion, and dedication left a lasting impact on every child, colleague, and parent who had the privilege of knowing her.’
They said that to honour her memory, they wanted to create the memorial garden as a ‘space for reflection, joy, and growth’ where children can learn through outdoor experiences, reflecting Emily’s values of ‘nurturing curiosity, creativity, and well-being in every learner’.
The page has already broken its £15,000 target, with family and friends pledging to take part in a series of gruelling fundraising events which has so far raised £16,330.

Katie Browning shared how Emily was ‘my gorgeous, funny, kind, patient and loving little sister’ who was her ‘best friend into adulthood’ and joined her ‘taking the p*ss out of mum together’.

Her boyfriend Jack will take on a triathlon, half marathon and epic 280km bike ride, while Katie and 22 of her closest friends will also take on challenges from ultra marathons to Ironman triathlons in her memory.
In a tribute to her thanking those who had donated, Jack added: ‘With your help we can help Gladstone Primary continue Emily’s dream of shaping and inspiring young minds through fun, outdoor learning. I’ll love you always angel x’
