Produced by Richard Bacon, a BBC spokesperson confirmed to the Mirror that the show had been axed and would not be returning for another go around.

They told the publication: “Sometimes difficult decisions have to be made, so whilst there will be not be another series of This is MY House on BBC One and iPlayer, we would like to extend our thanks to Richard Bacon and the entire team at Expectation plus all our celebrity sleuths for two series of the show.”

Among some of the celebs that put their detective skills to work were Judi Love, Harry Hill and Alison Hammond.

The programme initially launched in 2021 to favourable reviews.
