Chinese New Year is coming up, marking the end of the year of the Tiger and the start of the year of the Rabbit.
Celebrations often run across a 15-day period, kicking off on Sunday January 22, and end with the Lantern Festival on February 5.
Each year, which is based on the lunar cycle, is represented by one of 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac, and many believe that the animal you were born under will dictate what sort of personality you have.
The next year is predicted to be "the year of hope", and it's believed those who are born in the years of the Rabbit, Goat, Pig and Rat will have a very good year.
But that also means that for some people, who are born under other animals, are expected to have a rocky year ahead.

Here we take a closer look at what this means for you and the year ahead.
Ox
Born in: 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021
The ox is the second of the zodiac animals, and are generally thought to be intelligent and reliable, hardworking and honest.
The expert said that those born under the ox will have luck in "money and career", and that you are "always trustworthy and can be relied on" professionally.
However, it's not all good news, as Marites said: "This year, threats of robbery, losses or possible injuries will be bothering the Ox-born people. Nonetheless, with your innate confidence, strength, and stability, you will always prosper even during difficult times.
"Just avoid being stubborn, resentful and temperamental, all of which will result in your downfall and destruction."
Dragon
Born in: 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012
The dragon is the fifth of all the zodiac animals, and are generally thought of as strong and independent people who yearn for support and love.
Lack of face-to-face GP appointments 'turning patients into DIY doctors'According to the astrologer, those born in the year of the dragon need to "brace" for "possible negatives" this year which may be brought by "hostile energies" that indicate heartaches and misunderstandings.
She added: "It needs a lot of your patience, tolerance, and restraint to avoid being carried away by the usual heartaches that will present themselves to you. Be strong and take the high road. Avoid at all costs any disagreements and opt for peace and harmonious environment"
Snake
Born in: 1928, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013
Next is the snake, which is the sixth of the zodiac animals. According to tradition, they are believed to have a deep and complex mind, but if they love, they love with their entire heart.
The astrologer notes that snakes usually live peaceful lives, but this will be disrupted by the presence of the "hostility star".
She added: "This time, there are indications of heartaches, misunderstandings, lawsuits, and plenty of quarrelling. Wear some fire element energies, such as red, pink, or purple or other peaceful charms may include the friendship medallion or peace and harmony symbols."
Dog
Born in: 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018
People who are born during the year of the dog are considered to be fiercely loyal friends, and the most reliable partner.
Unfortunately, despite being the "secret friend of the rabbit", it's not predicted to be the smoothest ride for those born in the years above.
Marites said: "It is a must for Dog-born people to provide extra attention on caring for themselves in 2023. This is due to the threat of the misfortune star present in your chart at this time. This can seriously bring havoc to your life.
"There is also the risk of illness, which may affect your income opportunities and working schedules. Always bring your five element pagoda charm or ultimate mantra amulets.
"For extra protection, carry some amulets for health longevity. The Anti-illness Charms will also help neutralise these afflictions."
