Cardi B and Offset seem to be in a shaky era of their relationship

Two weeks after a very public cheating accusation, Cardi B posted a montage of her twerking in a range of locations. While the video starts off with a tamer twerking session in Paris, it ends up escalating to a near nude moment in a full bathtub. Plus, she twerked in an all white bedroom and bragged in the caption about it being her own.

The drama started when Offset posted on his Instagram story: “My wife f***ed a N***a on me gang yall n***as know how I come."

He took down the accusation quickly and Cardi had a rebuttal. She denied the accusation on Twitter Spaces, defending her own name by saying: "I'm Cardi B. I think sometimes motherf***ers forget I'm Cardi B."

Cardi said: "If I was giving this p***y to anybody, it would be out. I'm not just anybody."

She explained that she doesn't trust just any guy to keep their mouth shut, but expressed that she had the same concerns about sleeping with someone who worked in the industry, too. The point is a bit moot, though, as Cardi and Offset are still together.

Before Cardi posted the twerking video, they were seen together at Paris Fashion Week. While this doesn't necessarily mean everything is fully smoothed over yet, a source close to the couple did confirm to Page Six that they'll figure it out.

The source said: “Offset and Cardi will work things out, but a part of me wants to get a taste of the single Cardi B again."

Could this twerking video be a little taste of a return to that old single-era Cardi? Well, the source said they'd love to see it, no matter how unlikely. After all, the twerking video may not indicate split between the pair, but rather an effort toward underscoring her own autonomy and agency.

They explained: “She is a great wife, and an even better mom. But it would be nice to revisit the times when Cardi was out there hitting the clubs, and vacationing solo, with no husband.”

Cardi has also been releasing new music, featuring on "Point Me 2" by FendiDa Rapper. In one Instagram post, Cardi claimed that the song is her "mood all summer."
