A 14-year-old boy has been left fighting for his life after he was stabbed.
The teenager was found in critical condition on Brunel Road, Oldbury, in the early hours of this morning.
West Midlands Police has confirmed a 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
They said: ‘We are investigating after a teenage boy was stabbed in Oldbury.
‘We were called to Brunel Road in the early hours of this morning (4 January) after a 14-year-old boy was found with a serious knife wound.
‘He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
‘A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody while our enquiries continue.
‘We are remaining at the scene this morning to carry out further enquiries.’
