The Dutch defender popped the question to Annekee during a romantic getaway.
De Ligt confirmed their engagement in an Instagram post on Thursday.
The loved up couple shared a romantic embrace in front of a waterfront setting, with Annekee's engagement ring on display.
Both De Ligt and Annekee could be seen smiling in the snap, which the defender captioned: "She said yes!!"

Annekee also reposted the upload to her 445,000 Instagram followers.
De Ligt's Bayern team-mate Alphonso Davies commented: "Congrats bro."

Annekee and De Ligt are understood to have started dating in 2018.
She often shares loved up snaps of the couple on her own social media channels.
The 23-year-old has also been a strong supporter of De Ligt's career and was by his side when he jetted to Germany to complete his move to Bayern last summer.
De Ligt will be joining a sporting family when he ties the knot, with Annekee's brother also a footballer.
Pip Molenaar is a centre-back who most recently played for Telstar in the Dutch second tier.
