GETTING that longed-for proposal during a fairytale vacation would be a dream come true for anyone in the throes of love.
But a body language expert has claimed this moment may not ever come for Ryan Seacrest's partner Aubrey Paige given what she called the TV host's "detached" gestures.
Ryan, 48, and Aubrey, 25, were spotted recently on a European getaway, where they also celebrated the Fourth of July.
On July 3, the pair were seen having dinner with friends in Portofino, Italy. At the table, the couple looked distant.
During the trip, the American Idol host's girlfriend posted photos of herself posing in a tiny bikini on a luxury yacht.

The couple's vacation came months after Ryan moved back to Los Angeles.
Ryan is also set to start hosting Wheel of Fortune next year.
In an exclusive interview, body language expert Judi James told The U.S. Sun: “The choice of venue for Ryan and Aubrey's vacation suggested an intention to promote a romantic mood.
“But the pair's body language looked off-kilter with the idyllic backdrops of boats, beaches, and balconies.
“Ryan might have thought about carrying a ring in his pocket on that trip.
“But his ongoing lack of natural attachment rituals is a real cause for concern.
"On their rare red carpets, Ryan shows a non-committal-looking gap between their bodies.
"A couple in love would keep the threads of connection going all the time via their body language.
"This is thanks to a subliminal urge which is lacking from him.
“They do not naturally stand together and touch via hugs or hand-holding and close proximity.

“These most recent photos also show Ryan looking solemn, reflective, and physically detached from Aubrey.
“They suggest tension where he only seems to smile when they are with other people.
“When they are out for lunch on vacation, Aubrey’s gaze seems to waft past Ryan looking ahead.
“Instead of throwing admiring glances, he seemed to be ignoring her."
Ryan made his relationship public with Aubrey in June 2022 at the Tribeca Film Festival. This was at the premiere of J-Lo’s Halftime documentary.
At the time, he was presenting Live with Kelly and Ryan. He stepped down from the role earlier this year.
In April, Ryan moved back to Los Angeles to work solely on American Idol.
Since then, Texan-born Aubrey has hinted at happy times ahead in an Instagram post in June.
Next to a video of a martini glass on the arm of a couch and a sunset, she wrote: "Cheers to summa time and exciting things to come."
But James claimed the TV host continues to show the same distant body language rituals toward his partner.
“Given the Wheel of Fortune gig and relocation, Ryan might have wanted to make longer-term relationship plans," added Judi.
“Maybe Ryan's move back has impacted their togetherness signals.
“Ryan and Aubrey were first photographed together formally at a red carpet event last year.
"They treated fans to their status as a celebrity couple for the first time.
"Here, she pressed her breasts into Ryan’s torso.
"Her facial expression messaging looked mainly aimed at the camera — she showed a sultry pout and eye contact with the lenses."
Meanwhile, his head was tilted away from her.
"Ryan had an arm around her waist but there was a very polite space between them," Judi said.
Before model Aubrey, Ryan dated a string of celebrity beauties.
These included Terri Hatcher, Julianne Hough, Shana Wall, and Shayna Taylor.
The high-profile TV star has also never been married.
On Live in 2017 he said: "I figure the longer I wait, the older I'll be, the closer to death I am, so I can get it in, and not screw it up."
"Overall, Ryan continues to look determined to keep his feelings towards his girlfriends private," explained Judi.
“There is still no sign in any of the photos that Ryan has decided to move things forward with Aubrey.
“The sense of tension about some of their poses continues.
“In one other of their recent vacation images, Aubrey's expression looks glum in the green shorts suit.
"It looks look like they are starting their vacation but his arms are held to his side.
“Ryan’s smile often looks polite and social when it is aimed at other people.
“The pose looks polite here and there is no touch between them at all.
“Attachment rituals don’t have to be full-on constant.
“When they are apart, the glances, eye-checking rituals, and distance signals like smiling or using intentional gestures will often increase.
“There is usually a softening of the facial expression too."
Aubrey, on the other, hand continues to post pictures of herself regularly online.
“Aubrey’s sexy Instagram posts are generally all about Aubrey,” added Judi.
“They show off her toned figure and her beautiful features in a variety of model poses and bikinis.
“In terms of love signals, it is clear that she loves the camera and the camera loves her.
“Her Instagram posts with Ryan often look fun but the pair tend to look oddly twinned.
“They are often in matching outfits as though Aubrey is getting Ryan to join in her love of fashion modeling.
“The natty matching blue shorts ensembles complete with matching shades and baseball caps are modeled with a convincing pose from Aubrey.
“Ryan shows a less confident look.
“It is always Aubrey working these pose while Ryan creates humor in their matching hats.
“Even in the helicopter, it is Aubrey projecting the couple's pose to the camera.
"Ryan’s raised eyebrows suggest a desire to keep it all light via a comedy facial expression.
"He uses his professional presenter’s smile.
“None of Ryan's body language suggests any hint of commitment from him.”
