Ronnie O'Sullivan had an unfortunate slip of the tongue following his shock World Grand Prix defeat on Wednesday. O'Sullivan took on Thailand's Noppon Saengkham with a place in the quarter-finals at stake.
Despite being the strong favourite, O'Sullivan fell to a surprising 4-2 defeat at the hands of Saengkham as the Thai star set up a last-eight clash with Welshman Mark Williams. Following the match 'The Rocket' had seemingly accepted his loss.
However his post-match interview with ITV could well have landed the 47-year-old in hot water, after a mispronunciation resulted in him dropping the c-bomb live on air.
Assessing his performance the Englishman said: "I don't really worry myself with making events and making c****." Noticing his x-rated mistake, O'Sullivan quickly corrected himself, adding: "Sorry, cuts!"
O'Sullivan's performance was seemingly a tale of two halves, after the Englishman initially flew out of the blocks. The seven-time world champion looked set for a routine win, after securing the opening two frames to move 2-0 ahead.
"Different animal" Mark Allen on how O'Sullivan helped him through divorceSaengkham was quick to respond though and produced a remarkable performance to turn the game on its head. The Thai national went on to win four frames on the bounce, blowing arguably the sport's greatest player of all time away, to secure a 4-2 victory.
O'Sullivan had plenty of praise for his opponent, admitting: "He (Saengkham) played amazing. I've got no complaints, give it my best but it wasn't good enough on the day."

The loss could prove a costly one for O'Sullivan, with the Englishman now a doubt to qualify for next month's Players Championship. Despite being a two-time winner of the event, the 47-year-old is not overly worried about missing out this year.
He commented: "I play every tour as it is, I enjoy playing and competing. If I don't make the Players Championship, I will fill my time with exhibitions. I just love playing and being on the road. The thought of not being on the road isn't a good feeling. There is always a back-up plan."
