SKY SPORTS presenter Iona Stephen has asked for urgent help after thieves stole her car and a set of vintage golf clubs.

The former Scottish professional took to social media to request her fans to keep an eye out for her clubs after realising her vehicle was stolen from Belfry car park on Tuesday.

It was a double blow for the now broadcaster as her golf bag is now missing alongside her car, and she's been left devastated by the ordeal.

She is desperate to find her gear and hopes someone will come across the items should the thieves attempt to sell them online.

The Titleist bag had several expensive clubs inside, including a Scotty Cameron putter, as well as tournament edition headcovers and towels.

Posting photos of the bag and the several items that were inside, Stephen wrote on her Instagram story: "Sadly today, my car was stolen from, a golf club car park and inside were my golf clubs. This is my bag so please if you see it anywhere let me know.

"It has @theopen headcover and @waltonheathgc towel and headcover and my red putter.

"Sadly my beautiful putter and gamer of dreams were also stolen. Please report it if you see it being sold."

There has been some good news, at least, for Iona.

She took to social media again to reveal that some of her items had been found - in a BUSH.

And it included one of her prize possessions.

Iona revealed: "Amazingly this morning some of my items have been recovered in a bush, including my putter! Thank you so much for all your messages and support and sharing.

"And a huge thank you to Matt at the Belfry for going out his way to hunt all the back alleyways. I can't believe we've found the putter.

"The golf community is amazing and I'm so grateful for all the messages. There are so many good people."

The GolfTV, Sky Sports Golf, BBC and NBC Golf Channel presenter tagged former professional footballer and close friend Jamie Redknapp in her posts in an attempt to reach a bigger audience about the crime.

The ex-Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder shared a picture of the bag with the caption: "Please get in touch if you find these."

The Scots broadcaster regularly fronts television coverage of the DP World Tour and majors like The Open and The Masters.

She also has her own YouTube channel, On the Road with Iona, which sees her meeting celebrities and famous golfers alike - including Niall Horan, Rick Shiels and Jon Rahm.
