KSI and Tommy Fury are finally set to go glove-to-glove with their long-awaited bout having finally been confirmed.
The pair are set to clash at the Manchester Arena on October 14 after a long-running social media war of words. Fury and KSI squared off following the latter’s victory over Joe Fournier back in May, with security eventually forced to step in to lower tempers.
The British YouTuber has continued to hurl demands at his future opponent, with a number of deadlines coming and going. Promoters DAZN have now announced that the fight will finally take place.
Speaking after the initial announcement, KSI said: “I came back to boxing to show the world the crazy levels I’m at. I’ve shown through obliterating all my past opponents that I am the best in this scene.
“KO after KO has now led me to the toughest fight in the influencer boxing scene. I’m fighting Tommy Fury. The man that defeated the once-undefeated Jake Paul is now my opponent and I can’t wait to silence all the doubters that believe I have no chance. After this fight, you’ll understand that I truly am that guy.”
Robbie Williams poised to launch his own brand of energy drinks to rival Prime“I’ve already beaten Jake Paul and so all that is left for me to do is send this man to sleep,” Paul responded. “I’ll do that inside four rounds. This is easy money.”
Elsewhere, Mams Taylor, Co-President of Misfits Boxing said: “Two juggernauts of the crossover boxing scene collide on October 14. KSI has made no secret of his desire to get in the ring with Tommy Fury, inflict his first defeat and do what Jake Paul could not do, and very soon he will get his chance to make a giant statement.

“This will be the Prime card, an unbelievable night of crossover boxing and the best in history, befitting that premium brand. And the night is only going to get bigger. Watch this space.”
Both fighters head into their showdown with unbeaten records. Of the five fights that KSI has accepted, he has won five - four of those by knockout. Meanwhile, former Love Island star Fury has nine wins from as many fights but just four of those have come by KO.
Heading into the clash, he has both the weight and reach advantage - albeit both fighters standing at exactly six foot tall. Fury and KSI are not the only ones taking to the ring in October.
Logan Paul - a former opponent of KSI and now co-owner of energy drink supplier Prime - will also be fighting on the same card but his opponent is yet to be confirmed. He has not fought since an exhibition match with iconic former boxer Floyd Mayweather in June 2021.
Speaking about his return, the American said: "I'm f****** pumped, man. It's been so long since I had a boxing fight, and I feel like I've kind of been left out of the conversation.
"But I don't train wrestling. I train boxing. I practice for my matches a couple times, but it's not like I'm doing WWE training. I've been behind the scenes just boxing for the past two years, so I'm so excited to finally get back in the ring and show people how good I really am at the sport."
