CONOR McGregor has implied that his fight camp is underway as he plots a return to the Octagon.

The Irishman has been out of action since July 2021 after he broke his leg in the first round against Dustin Poirier.

The Crumlin star has teased a comeback all year and even coached on The Ultimate Fighter with Michael Chandler.

But McGregor is yet to set a date for his UFC return against Michael Chandler after the pair coached on reality series.

And now, the former two-weight champion claimed he will fight Chandler, 37, before the year is over.

McGregor, 35, told talkSPORT: “Chandler next, December. And then Gaethje BMF. And then we’ll do Nate [Diaz] trilogy.”

The MMA megastar took to social media this afternoon on the tenth anniversary of his UFC Boston win over Max Holloway.

McGregor was expected to face Andy Ogle on 17 August 2013 at UFC Fight Night 26 but Ogle pulled out of the bout citing an injury.

The Dubliner then fought Max Holloway in the TD Garden.

McGregor won the fight by unanimous decision (30–27, 30–27, and 30–26).

And this afternoon, the former UFC double champion teased fans by showing a video of fight camp equipment stacked in a gym along with a caption.

It read: "McGregor Camp"

Meanwhile, McGregor's compatriot Ian Garry face his toughest test to date this weekend at UFC 292, also in Boston.

Garry faces #11 ranked Neil Magny in a welterweight clash.

Magny, 36, is the UFC’s all-time wins leader in the 170lbs division.
