And Portugal pals Cancelo and Felix will now look to help Barca retain their LaLiga crown after landing one-year deals.

Man City ace Cancelo was deemed surplus to requirements AGAIN by Pep Guardiola, having spent the second half of last season at Bayern Munich.

As for Felix, he remained out of Diego Simeone's plans at Atletico Madrid following a brief loan spell at Chelsea.

Felix missed Atletico training on Friday and made the short flight across Spain this afternoon with this father and personal trainer.

The group landed in Catalonia at around 4pm UK time and were quickly followed by Cancelo.

But Barca managed to wrap up both deals well ahead of the 11pm deadline.

And the two stars will be hoping to make their debuts in Sunday's league game at Osasuna.

Felix joined Atleti from Benfica for a staggering £112million in 2019 and has gone on to make 131 appearances, scoring 34 goals and winning one LaLiga title.

He publicly admitted his desire to join Barcelona after returning to Atletico from a loan spell at Chelsea.

This cause boss Simeone to say: "It is normal that in the press the focus is on whether he stays or leaves.

"I already said that there is no one more important than the club, with no exceptions. It’s impossible to be clearer than that."

As for Cancelo, he joined City in 2019 from Juventus in a deal worth £60m.
