Vanessa Feltz’s cheating ex-fiance is finding her appearance on Celebs Go Dating tough to watch.
Phats & Small singer Ben Ofoedu, 51, was revealed as a philanderer when a woman he had been sext-messaging behind Vanessa's back contacted one of her daughters with bombshell intel on Christmas Day last year. Vanessa, 61, and Ben had been engaged since December 2006 and until it emerged that he was a serial cheat, the couple were regarded as having one of the strongest unions in showbiz.
Now, Vanessa is looking for a new relationship on Celebs Go Dating, and according to Ryan-Mark Parsons, 23, Ben is finding some of her scenes hard to watch. Ryan-Mark, who was the youngest ever contestant on the Apprentice, became pals with Ben after they appeared in a play together.
He told OK! Magazine the show had been “the topic of our chats recently” and that there was one particular comment which really jarred him. He said: “What really stood out to Ben was when she said, ‘I was happy to love him’.
“He kind of felt like he was an object that kind of existed in her life, that she was happy to be with and exist with. He felt slightly objectified in that way, and he thought it was quite harsh and he felt that was a real punch in the stomach.”
