Jamie Foxx has jetted off to Mexico and was spotted enjoying a swim with friends just four months after he was rushed to hospital due to a "medical complication".
The 55-year-old looked to be in good health as he was snapped soaking up the sun and enjoying a dip in Tulum. Jamie looked ready for his holiday as he wore a pair of knee-length cream shorts. He showed off his muscly arms by going topless during his swim.
The Hollywood star made sure to put his safety first and was seen donning a bright orange lifejacket. His companions also wore the protective clothing.
After spending some time in the water, Jamie was all smiles as he walked around the local area with a blue towel draped over his shoulder. He also wore a red pair of non-slip shoes.
Jamie's trip comes after he was injured while filming his latest Netflix project, Back In Action. In April, it was announced that the actor had experienced a "medical complication" on set, with the cause of his ill-health unknown.

He's thought to have received "round-the-clock treatment" at the centre, while his family remained by his side.
Jamie's family kept tight-lipped about his health woes, but they did reveal in May that he had been released from hospital. He has since shared a video where he addressed his health scare.
The popular actor admitted he was connected to tubes while in the hospital, but excluded his official diagnosis. In an emotional Instagram clip, he said: "I went through something that I thought I would never, ever go through and I know a lot of people were waiting or wanted to hear updates, but to be honest with you, I just didn't want you to see me like that."
He added: "I didn't want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through." He added that he went through "hell and back" during the medical complication.
Now, Jamie has further taken to Instagram to open up about how he has felt recently. In a lengthy caption, the They Cloned Tyrone star said: "You're lookin at a man who is thankful… finally startin to feel like myself… it's been an unexpected dark journey… but I can see the light."
He added: "I'm thankful to everyone that reached out and sent well wishes and prayers… I have a lot of people to thank… u just don't know how much it meant… I will be thanking all of you personally… and if you didn’t know… GOD IS GOOD… all day every day." Jamie then concluded with three hashtags, with one that read: "I'm back and better".
Fans rushed to the comments to share their joy that Jamie was getting back to his normal self. One person penned: "You had the whole world praying for you! Stay focused on God! Love you!"
A second fan added: "Look like a million bucks Jamie! Been a fan since ‘The Show’ and own every stand up special. It’s very inspiring to see you on the road to recovery. Know that you are an inspiration to others overcoming adversity. God bless." Meanwhile, a third penned: "Look who is back! SO happy to see you Like this. Thank God."
