HOLLYOAKS actress Jennifer Metcalfe was cruelly mum-shamed as she enjoyed a day out with her son.
The Channel 4 actress, 39, who has played feisty Mercedes McQueen for the past 17 years, is mum to six-year-old Daye.
Jennifer embraced the summer holiday break with a day of fun for her only son at sport and recreation centre Gravity Max.
She captured herself and Daye battling it out on everything from mini golf to go karting, before she managed to knock over the single skittle in a game of ten pin bowling.
The mum-of-one was perfectly dressed for a sporty day in a grey crop top and skintight leggings.

She struck a series of solo poses as well as beaming as she stood with Daye on the mini golf course.
The pair's final battle came in the form of an air hockey clash which the Hollyoaks actress filmed for a short video.
In her caption she wrote: "What a great day @gravitymax_uk so much to do under one roof for everyone."
Yet one cruel mum-shamer was quick to lash out and wrote: "Do you ever pay for anything?"
They were referring to the fact that Jen tagged the post as an advert.
Yet her loyal fans were quick to hit back, with one writing: "Ooft."
Another put: "Wow rude!!!" while a third commented on how the star: "Looks amazing xxx"
Another wrote: "Glad you had the best dayy."
Recently, Jen stripped to a one-shoulder black swimsuit for a day at the beach.

She later showed off her stunning figure in a tiny designer bikini.
It came as she was relaxing on the beach in sunny Spain.
The actress gave birth to Daye during her relationship with former Geordie Shore star Greg Lake.
And although she split with Greg in 2020 after eight years together, they are committed to co-parenting their son.
Last year, Manchester-based Jennifer told The Sun about their arrangements.
“It’s as perfect as it can be," she said.
"Greg lives in Newcastle, so Daye visits him every other weekend.
"We both have our child’s best interests at heart ultimately, so whatever that brings, it brings."
She recently posed with a rare snap with her ex as fans praised the pair for their parenting.
Like an increasing number of women, single Jen says she would not rule out freezing her eggs to have more kids.
Jen says: “I’d absolutely love to have more kids.
"I’d like to have five or six, but the time and person I’m with would have to be right.”
"I’m reaching 40 next year so maybe I will have them frozen.
"Judging by the logistics I really should, because I’d love a massive family."
