She was covering for former BBC Breakfast star Steph McGovern who was missing from the daytime series.
Viewers were left swooning over Carol's figure-hugging blue zip-up jumpsuit.
She paired the stunning piece with black high-heels.

During the show Carol hosted a segment on wacky TikTok beauty treatments with live animals.
She was left screaming as producers placed four snakes on her back, with the reptiles supposed to release endorphins and massage her skin.
As Carol lay down for the treatment, she made clear she wasn't feeling relaxed in the slightest.
She exclaimed: "It's not massaging me at all! That's horrible. Oh my God, where's that going?"
The weirdness didn't end there as Carol was then forced to have a snail facial.
She closed her eyes as two were placed on her face and allowed to slither freely.
Steph, 41, is expected to be back on the television on Thursday.
