Reading and Leeds Festivals are two essentials on every music lover's calendar, but what will the weather be like at this year's gigs on Richfield Avenue and Bramham Park? Sam Fender, The Killers and Billie Eilish are amongst artists taking to the stage over five days.

Only The Poets and You Me At Six will also be gracing the famous locations over the weekend, now The Mirror reveals what weather festival-goers can expect as temperatures are set to reach 22 degrees, hotter than Barcelona on the Sunday. Gates for the 2023 event opened on Wednesday as people headed to the fields to try and secure the best camp spot which would ensure they're close to all of the action.

What is the weather for Reading Festival 2023?

Most people arrived today at Richfield Avenue, when weather watchers warned of light rain showers and light winds, with highs of 22 degrees and lows of 12 degrees. However, on Friday, festival fans can expect sunny intervals and a gentle breeze, with highs of 21 degrees and lows of 10 degrees.

On the Saturday, gig-goers can unfortunately expect drizzle and a gentle breeze, with temperatures hitting highs of 19 degrees and lows of 9 degrees. However, more positively, on the Sunday there will likely be sunny intervals and a gentle breeze, with temperatures peaking at 19 degrees and experiencing lows of 10 degrees. As campers leave on the Monday, more sunny intervals and a gentle breeze are predicted, with highs of 20 degrees and lows of 11 degrees.

What is the weather for Leeds Festival 2023?

Anyone arriving today would have seen the light cloud and a gentle breeze, with highs of 20 degrees and lows of 10 degrees. But unfortunately, on Friday, attendees in Leeds can expect light rain and a moderate breeze, with highs of 19 degrees and lows of 11 degrees.

It's a similar story for Saturday, as light rain showers and a gentle breeze appear to be on the cards, temperatures are likely hitting highs of 19 degrees and lows of 10 degrees. On Sunday, more light rain and a moderate breeze, with highs of 18 degrees and lows of 10 degrees.

And after a less-than-dry weekend at Bramham Park, when leaving the festival on the Monday, music-mad attendees can expect sunny intervals and a gentle breeze, with highs of 19 degrees and lows of 10 degrees.
