Misfits Boxing 009 live results including Aaron Chalmers vs Idris Virgo

Aaron Chalmers and Idris Virgo go to battle tonight at the Vertu Motors Arena in Newcastle this evening, with an host of talents from the world of Misfits Boxing.

Both experienced fighters, Chalmers and Virgo are likely to impress with their skills in the main event, but expect some wars on the undercard as a number of debutants get their starts. From MMA royalty to Love Islanders, there's something for everyone on this exciting night of action.

Three prelims kick off the card including a women's title fight between AJ Bunker and Little Bellsy at 5.20pm, with the main card starting at 7pm. This event is the final stop of Misfits world tour before the massive Prime card next month, which is headlined by KSI vs Tommy Fury.

Here's all you need to know about tonight's fights...

Carla Jade bts Tash Weekender by Unanimous Decision

The size ended up working out to the advantage of ring girl Carla Jade as she stuck behind her jab and got the victory after an aggressive start from Tash Weekender. Ultimately, the ITV star found it tough to get on the inside and was kept away for a judges' decision almost identical on all three cards.

Small Spartan Jay bts Pully Arif by Majority Decision

Size was the name of the game early in this one, as Arif kept Jay at distance in the opening rounds. But in the third Jay's relentless pressure paid off as he sprinted through and landed a massive knockdown that swung the fight. Two judges had the fight for Jay, but one felt Arif had done enough aside from the knockdown to earn a draw. Massive win for the calisthenics champion.

AJ Bunker bts Little Bellsy by Unanimous Decision

AJ Bunker has redeemed herself in the Misfits ring and been crowned the women's middleweight champion. Her boxing skill came to the fore against the far bigger Bellsy. After threats of a big jab at the press conference from the Australian, Bunker got on the inside and landed the bigger shots to pick up the victory.

After the fight she was confronted by OnlyFans star Elle Brooke, who has been terrorising the pair all week. They went back-and-forth on the microphone and appear to be heading towards a big fight in the future.

OJ Rose KOs Callum Izzard in Round 3

Just as expected, ITV Weekender star Izzard flew out of the traps early looking for the finish against former Youth Olympian and Tik Tok star Rose. But the American stayed disciplined and completely outclassed his rival towards the end of the second, eventually landing a massive knockdown at the end that saw the fight immediately waved off.

What's next for Rose remains to be seen. He's already stopped Kimbo Slice Jr and Izzard, and has eyes on Anthony Taylor next after a series of big wins.

Armz Korleone KOs Master Oogway in round 2

The massive size and power advantage was the difference for KSI teammate Armz Korleone in our heavyweight affair. Oogway was due to fight the much less experienced S1mba, but instead took on the tough test of muscle-bound bodybuilder Armz Korleone as a mystery opponent.

What's next for the big Brit? We'll have to wait and see.

Gabriel Silva KOs Ben Davis in Round 1

The son of Anderson Silva was completely overpowered verbally throughout the fight week, but come fight night he showed his mettle as he knocked out 'The Bane' with seconds to go in the first round. Davis attempted to get in close and stifle his rival early, but his limited experience showed as he was put down early and ultimately stopped.

After medicals were cleared, Davis has now headed down to commentate on the rest of the show!

Ashley Rak-Su bts Halal Ham by Unanimous Decision

After being walked out by his bandmates, X-Factor winner Ashley went straight for the jugular in an aggressive and at times scrappy showing against Ham. He was swinging for the fences and the highlight reel knockout he craved, but Halal Ham was just too tough to allow that to happen.

Rak-Su now pursuing Salt Papi, whose opponent has yet to be announced for next month's Prime Card. Credit must go to Halal Ham who dropped almost 90lb in order to make fight weight and overcame skin cancer during his boxing journey.

Faze Temperrr KOs Ginty in Round 1

The leader of the Faze Clan Temperrr defeated Tik Tok star Ginty by way of a vicious first round knockout in the night's co-main event. The Brit did his best to hype the fight throughout the brief month-long build-up, but couldn't overcome the relentless training and power of Temperrr.

With a card in Brazil touted for early next year, it could be time for Temperrr to have a massive homecoming.

Idris Virgo KOs Aaron Chalmers in Round 3

Love Island star Virgo was buzzed early by hometown hero Chalmers in the first round, but managed to regain his composure and take control of the fight as they headed into the second. And he managed to land a knockdown in the middle of the second, but Chalmers perservered into round three.

The night ended in heartbreak for the home crowd, however, as Chalmers was downed twice and the towel was thrown in after the third to see Virgo continue his unbeaten run. It has to be the pro tournament next!
