MY MUM Your Dad star Roger has admitted his show appearance "split" his family "down the middle."
The ITV star, 59 - who has found love with co-star Janey, 47, - admitted both he and his loved ones initially shared concerns he was "not ready" for romance.

With Joanne having passed away less than two years ago, My Mum Your Dad viewers were worried the dad of three just wasn't ready for the matchmaking experience - and on Monday's Good Morning Britain, Roger agreed.

He told them his stint on the show "it was a debate in the family as well" and added: "It split them down the middle.
"But I said 'if I had the once in a lifetime chance I am going to take it'."
Richard then asked if the show had been a "journey of discovery" for the star.
Roger again agreed and confessed: "I did think to myself if I met someone, I thought I would fall hard.
"And I did, very hard."
Janey, who was a late arrival to the show, beamed at his words.
The pair then confirmed his son Zach and her daughter Tia were firmly backing the partnership.
They told how they "needed to lie down" after feeling the love from fans, many of whom approached them during their weekend trip to London.

The lovebirds posted on social media, confirming The Sun's story that they are still together months after filming at the Sussex mansion ended.
Janey posted online confirming the update, writing: "What an amazing journey... Saturday mornings just got a whole lot better."
