FOUR rowdy theatre-goers were removed by police at a performance of Grease The Musical.

The audience chanted “out, out, out” as two couples were taken away.

Mobile phone footage captured the applause at London’s Dominion Theatre as the group were ejected by eight cops.

One officer prompted a second burst of applause by giving a royal wave to the audience as he left.

The incident took place during the interval and delayed the second half of Saturday night’s show.

It is unclear what the removed four had done.

One theatre-goer said on social media they were “being rude or abusive and refusing to leave”.

He added: “No one seems to know but bar staff claimed they’d been rude or abusive and just wouldn’t leave and kept on arguing, guessing too much drink.”

The Met Police said: “Shortly before 8.40pm police received reports of two men and two women causing a disturbance at a theatre.”

It added that there were no arrests.

Grease the Musical returned to the West End in June for a limited run with the last performance on October 28.
