A "ONE-IN-A-MILLION" collection of classic cars was found inside an old barn - and they've barely clocked any miles.

For decades, a car enthusiast had carefully hidden away dozens of barely-driven vintage motors in an outbuilding in Alabama.

Beautifully preserved, the almost fresh out the showroom vehicles had sat unused and gathering dust.

The man responsible for such a rare collection was Earl Trammel, who preferred to invest in motors than banks.

He died last year and his widow Patricia, recently made the decision to sell his legacy-worthy collection.

“These cars started accumulating through Earl Trammel’s love for cars,” Trammel’s brother-in-law, John Hollander, told Hemmings.

“He was a car and body man for over 60-70 years...and started collecting cars at an early age.

"These cars need to be out where people can see them, so I finally talked my sister into selling the entire inventory.”

The treasure trove of over 22 motors includes a 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 still wearing its delivery packaging with only 25 miles on his odometer.

And sending car-lovers into a frenzy was a 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible, a 1979 Stingray with only 41 miles and a 999 F-150 SVT Lightning with 46 miles.

GiveMeTheVin.com (GMTV) bought the whole lot.

Its founder and CEO John Clay Wolfe couldn't believe what he was seeing.

“This is a one-in-a-million barn find,” said Wolfe. “I buy and sell more than fifty thousand vehicles a year....but I’ve never accomplished anything like this.

"The diversity of the collection....is sure to make car junkies salivate when these classics go on display in a few months."

A video on their YouTube channel shows their bombshell "barn find" and their excitement is palpable.

They dubbed the secret collection the "Car collector Holy Grail" and explained that they bought them on the spot.

Recalling the discovery, Wolfe said: "In a tiny little barn in Alabama that looked ridiculous, you'd never expect to find a million dollars worth of cars there."

The auction is planned for Spring 2024 in Texas.

The gorgeous miniature motor was one of just 178 ever produced.
