OVER the years Ian Beale's lovelife has dominated the storylines on EastEnders.
The character - played by Adam Woodyatt - has now returned to Albert Square, with ex-wife Cindy Beale in tow, leaving fans wondering who else is the mother of his kids.

Cindy Beale

The character first appeared on Albert Square in 1988, and immediately caught the attention of a young Ian Beale.
The couple got engaged in the late 80s, and they went on to have a child together called Steven.

After a very rocky on/off relationship Cindy and Ian patched things up and welcomed twins - Lucy and Peter Beale.
But things didn't end well as Lucy was later killed by her half-brother.
However before that, Cindy attempted to have Ian killed, and then faked her own death while awaiting trial for the crime.
Whilst in prison, she gave birth to another daughter called Cindy Jr, who's father was Nick Holland.
Whilst under the new identity of Rose Knight, she had daughters Anna and Gina Knight, with her new husband George Knight.
Meanwhile, Cindy's first son Steven Beale later died in 2017.

They married in 2001 but, much like his first two marriages, they had a very rocky relationship.
Laura then died in 2004 after tripping down the stairs and breaking her neck.

She told the BBC: "I've enjoyed my last four years at EastEnders but the time has come for me and the character to move on.
"I'm looking forward to pastures new, and I certainly won't miss Laura's taste in wardrobe!"
