MARK Zuckerberg showed off tow beautiful black eyes after a training session ahead of his proposed fight with Elon Musk.

The Facebook and Meta CEO, 39, proved he's putting in the hard yards ahead of his showdown with Musk.

Talk of an MMA fight between Zuckerberg and the X, formerly known as Twitter, chief has simmered down.

But Zuckerberg, who has been cage-fight training since 2020, is still keeping himself ready for the bout..

He shared the image to his Instagram account showing two black eyes and a bruised nose.

Zuckerberg revealed the injuries were a result of a training session, captioning the snap: "Sparring got a little out of hand.

"May need to update my avatar."

Many of his 12 million followers on the social media platform commented on the pictures.

One said: "You aren't real."

Another one joked: "You just felt a hundredth of the pain as one of the users on ur platform feels when their account is removed."

The MMA world also chimed in on Zuckerberg's photo.

Former light heavyweight titleholder Aung La Nasang commented: "Might need to keep your hands up Mark."

New UFC fighter Will Gomis also wrote in the replies: "What does not kill you makes you stronger."

Last month, Zuckerberg was seen training with UFC stars Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski.

Zuckerberg looks like he will keep fighting even if the Musk clash never takes place.

He told Forbes last week: "I started doing jiu-jitsu competitions earlier this year.

"I want to do an MMA competition, do a formal fight sometime in the next year. So I'm looking forward to that."
