Celebrity wellness guru Gwyneth Paltrow has spoken candidly about her successful and unsuccessful Botox treatments, with the actress and Goop founder opening up in a new Q&A session online with her fans.

The ageless 51-year-old actress-turned-guru was posed a question by a fan on Instagram, and being the candid star she is, Gwyneth answered honestly. The fan asked her: "Did you ever try Botox?"

To which Gwyneth typed out on her Instagram stories: "God yes. Both successfully and unsuccessfully I'm afraid." And this doesn't come as a surprise, as she’s been open about using Botox and Xeomin injections to soften wrinkles in the past.

Continuing the Q&A, another person then asked her: "How does your skin look so good?" The Sliding Doors actress then admitted that she is "diligent" with her skincare regime, which happens to be something she has often spoken about publicly.

She then went on to talk about her current regime, which is said to include many products from her brand Goop. Some of the products mentioned were Microderm, a peptide serum, and some once-a-week overnight peel pads.

Back in 2020 Gwyneth spoke about how she vowed not to do plastic surgery. Speaking to Refinery29 at the time, the blonde bombshell admitted: "In the past, I've never said that I won't do plastic or cosmetic surgery, because I think it's important to stay honest to the fact that we all change as we age."

She also touched on anti-wrinkle injections while chatting the outlet, with her revealing that when she turned 40 she had a "mid-life crisis" that saw her get the injections "all over" her face. She even admitted that it was "awful".

"I looked horrible," she added. "One eye was actually like higher than the other - and it was definitely a big mistake, though luckily a temporary one."
