BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty winced as she was grilled about how she bagged a Blue Peter badge - leaving fans in stitches.
The 47-year-old and co-host Charlie Stayt were joined by McFly's Tom Fletcher on the show.
Tom told them about a new Amazing Authors competition for children that was launching, before Naga noticed the Blue Peter badge on his jacket.
She asked him when he got it and then revealed that the winner of the writing competition also gets an orange Blue Peter badge.
Tom said: "The orange ones are really rare because they only go to competition winners."

Charlie then asked Naga if she had a Blue Peter badge and she said: "Yeah."
There was a silent pause, then a perplexed Charlie asked: "What did you get it for?"
Naga bowed her head and laughed before saying: "I can't tell you what I got it for."
Charlie replied: "Well it can't be a secret."
Naga faltered saying "No..." before adding: "Let's move on."
As Charlie then looked at Tom, the singer said: "We'd love to know what you got it for."
She then whispered: "I don't know why I've got it".
Naga sheepishly added: "It wasn't from appearing on the show."
She then giggled and said: "No I didn't steal it!"
As Charlie continued to question her, Naga looked down at her papers and then rubbed her head and said: "Can we please stop? What is going on! This is an interview about you."

She added: "I'm doing something that I never do, I'm going to the questions on the script just to get out of this conversation."
However, her comments left BBC Breakfast viewers desperate to know more, as well as questioning how she got it.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "we all want to know about how
@TVNaga01 got her Blue Peter badge!!!"
Another added: "u have dug a hole for yourself spill the beans how u got the blue Peter badge ."
A third tweeted: "Anyone else now desperate to hear why @TVNaga01 got a #BluePeter badge?"
Meanwhile a fourth shared a funny gif of a person dressed as a robber sneaking into a house and wrote: "Actual footage of
@TVNaga01 claiming her Blue Peter badge."
