HALLE Bailey's fans were sent into a meltdown after she appeared to confirm rumors she was pregnant and secretly married to boyfriend DDG- but all is not what it seems.
The Little Mermaid actress seemed to share the news in an interview with Glamour magazine in the UK.
In the interview, the actress appeared to say: "Being a mum, being newly married - there's the positive side of it, but also the negative. I want to show that although things might look perfect from the exterior, that's not always the case."
Fans immediately flooded X, formerly known as Twitter, with their excitement for the star.

"So excited!" said another follower.
However, fans soon realized that the quote attributed to Halle was actually from Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock's recent interview with the magazine.
Glamour later removed the quote from their article about Halle.
PREGNANCY RUMORS
The mix-up comes as chatter has been swirling that Halle, 23, was pregnant after fans grew suspicious of her baggier outfits.
Fans first started noticing Halle's loosely fitted clothing in August and wondered if it was to conceal a baby bump.
A few weeks later, the Grown-ish star raised eyebrows when she donned a baggy orange gown covering her entire frame to the MTV Video Music Awards.
An insider at the awards show dished to Page Six: "Halle stayed away from the pink carpet so she would not be photographed, and when she was inside, she was very mindful in the way she gave hugs, and who she gave them to."
A second source noted that the "orange dress flow was an indicator she was trying to hide."
"She would keep her distance when someone got too close, and she gave out more handshakes than her [usual] enduring embraces."
BABY BUMP
Halle's wardrobe continued to raise questions in the following weeks as she covered her stomach in oversized coats at the Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2024 fashion shows for Milan Fashion Week.

One was a black button-down, which she paired with no pants and knee-high leather boot heels.
The other was a bright yellow trench coat, with seemingly nothing underneath, and strappy silver heels.
Halle again hid her belly with a long trench in an Instagram video she posted from a photoshoot.
SO GLAMOROUS
Halle also appeared to cover a bump at Glamour's Women of the Years Awards in London on October 17.
The actress' boyfriend DDG - birth name Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. - even fueled rumors the couple was actually married at the event, calling his girlfriend "Mrs" and "wifey."
The couple were first linked in January 2022, although the TV star didn't confirm their romance until March 23, 2022.
