Big Brother star Rebecca Shiner decided to take a break from her career as a nursery nurse when she appeared in the ninth series of the iconic reality show when she was just 21-years-old. She often referred to herself as 'The Bex' and during her time in the house she struck up a close bond with fellow contestant, Luke Marsden, which kept viewers captivated.
The nursery nurse, from Coventry, was eventually the sixth housemate to be kicked out after she had been up for eviction twice before. Once away from the Big brother camera, Rebecca and Luke did maintain their relationship but sadly just 18 months later the couple decided to call it quits after she "fell out of love".
The couple reunited last year following the tragic death of the dog they had bought together when they were a couple. "We still had the dog from when we were together, so I thought he would need to know," Rebecca told the Daily Star. "I just asked if he wanted to have a conversation, to straighten some things out, put some things to rest just to make it a bit more memorable for us both.
"We spent a good two hours talking and it was the first time we'd spoken since we broke up. We spoke about a lot of things and talked things out to make our experience a bit more memorable because we had all this hatred. We put everything to rest. We were actually going to meet up but we didn't need to in the end."
She added: "People didn't get together in shows back then and I definitely didn't think it would happen to me in a million years." She added: "It was a great time and I'll never take it for granted because it was amazing. The worst part about being on the show was the stigma that came with it. Even after a decade it’s hard to shake off." Luke previously said about his stint in the house. "For the past 10 years, I’ve been turned down for jobs because of my BB past."
Davina McCall still talks to three Big Brother stars and felt bad for Jade GoodyAnd rather than return to her former career as a nursery nurse, The Bex decided to go in a totally different direction. Rebecca initially started working on the adult television station, Babestation, but has since switched her efforts to posting saucy snaps online and making her money through OnlyFans. Since then, she has spoken out and said that she wants to be a voice for sex workers and work for them to get equal rights.
Bex told the Daily Star: "I want equal rights for sex workers and to tell people that we are human and we can go and do other things and make something of ourselves even if it is outside the industry." Rebecca has invested her money wisely after raking in a whopping £12,000 every month with her sexy pictures.
The Onlyfans star has decided to invest in a burger van, called Bapstation, which sells breakfast wraps, burgers and pork baps. Apparently, every Friday people are queuing up for the food around her neighbourhood where it always sells out. The van has to motto "we sell food not nude".
