A COUPLE indulged in fore-play at the home of golf — and had sex in a bunker.
A woman in a hiked-up red dress was filmed straddling a man wearing a tux-style suit as he lay back at night.
They were spotted in an infamous sand trap on the notorious 17th “road hole” on the Old Course at St Andrews, regarded as one of golf’s hardest par-fours.
Footage was posted on social media by a stunned passer-by in the Scottish town, where Prince William met Kate Middleton at its ancient university.
The video is captioned: “Finishing up work at the Old Course and saw this in the road hole bunker.”

A source said: “It’s highly embarrassing this has happened at St Andrews, given its reputation as the historic home of golf.
“The course has a couple of swanky restaurants so it could be a couple who have gone for a walk after a meal and got a bit frisky, but it could be students.
“A bunker seems a funny place to have sex in given the chances of getting sand in places you don’t want it.
“Add in the fact it’s usually freezing at night and they must’ve really been in the mood.
“There were lots of red faces at the club when the video emerged as it doesn’t sit well with their image.
“If they track them down they’ll be banned for life.”
It is not the first time bunkers have been used for a bit of rough north of the border.
In 2020 Glenbervie Golf Club in Larbert, Stirlingshire, reported “an increasing number of messages about unwanted behaviour”.
They included “a couple engaging in sexual relations within a bunker. (Yes, this was actually witnessed)”.
