SUPERSTAR Barbra Streisand says she is quitting showbiz aged 81 because she wants “to have more fun”.
The singer and actress releases her memoir My Name Is Barbra tomorrow — and said she considers it a full stop on her career.

I want to get in my husband’s truck and just wander, hopefully with the children somewhere near us.
“Life is fun for me when they come over. They love playing with the dogs and we have fun.
“I haven’t had much fun in my life, to tell you the truth. And I want to have more fun.”

The news comes after it was revealed her two planned movie projects have been shelved.
In a career spanning six decades, she has released 36 studio albums, sold more than 150million records and won nine Golden Globes, eleven Grammys, five Emmys and two Oscars.
She starred in the 1976 hit movie A Star is Born.
On her book, which she began in 1999, Barbra said: “This is my legacy. I wrote my story. I don’t have to do any more interviews after this.”
