Zara, 26, was backed up by The Only Way is Essex star Pete Wicks, who is best pals with her boyfriend — Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson, 31.
Both were among the crowd of friends and family who were in the audience to support Zara while she was competing.
From tongue scraping to saying no, here are 12 health trends to try in 2023Pete, 35, found out the hard way that audience members were not allowed to leave their seats during filming — and that stopped them going to the bar.
He said: “They wouldn’t let me get up because it looks bad on camera and Tess Daly kept doing her pick-ups in front of me so I couldn’t go to the bar. I was raging.”
Zara and Italian pro partner Graziano Di Prima, 29, became the fifth couple to leave the competition.
They were voted out two weeks ago after ending up in the dance-off with actor Adam Thomas, 35, and his Russian partner Luba Mushtuk, 33.
Strictly Come Dancing bosses were contacted over the claims but declined to comment.
