A young woman has been made a VIP at her local Chinese takeaway after she helped it go viral.

Bobbi Hadgraft, 22, shared a photo of the £20 share box from Gemini Chinese Takeaway in Trafford, Greater Manchester, on social media platform X, and it quickly gained more than 15,000 likes and nearly four million views.

The share box included spring rolls, egg fried rice, chips, curry sauce, chicken wings, seaweed, salt and pepper chicken and beef. Bobbi captioned the post: "Just got this Chinese share box for 20 quid. Absolutely outrageous." After her post went viral, Bobbi revealed that the owner was struggling to keep up with the demand. Now, she has to pre-order her meal to ensure she gets one.

Now Bobbi has been made a VIP member at the takeaway, which means she gets a 20% discount for life. Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Bobbi, a radio producer, said: "The owner is really lovely and it was sweet how she called it that. It's gone absolutely crazy. I often post photos of my food on Twitter, but it's never taken off like that."

"But now the takeaway is so busy that I can't just ring up and order anymore! I had to pre order a box at the weekend to guarantee I could get one."

"It feels really lovely because the owner is so lovely! She's been really grateful for the exposure but also a bit overwhelmed with demand."

The restaurant posted a message on their website: "Dear customers. Thank you for your warm support, but due to our lack of chefs and drivers, to ensure customer satisfaction and food quality, we have to limit the quantity of share box.

"I hope you can understand, if you couldn't find sharebox online order just because it was sold out, pls choose any other food which is as nice as sharebox or maybe another day, I do apologise for that.

"Because sometimes the order volume is too intense, we can not load, so we may choose to suspend taking more order, have to say sorry again. But anyway thank you so so much for all your support, Gemini very honoured."
