Love Island star Gemma Owen seems to have found her type on paper - and in real life - as she has coupled up with the son of boxing champ Prince Naseem Hamed.
The 20-year-old reality star is herself the daughter of a famous sportsman - as her dad is ex-England striker Michael Owen, 43. Gemma - who found short-term love with 24-year-old fishmonger Luca Bish on the hit ITV2 reality romance show - has now been linked to the son of 49-year-old Prince Naz.
Gemma and 23-year-old Aadam Hamed, who is following in the boxing footsteps of his father as a professional fighter himself, have been getting to know each other in the sunny climes of Dubai. According to The Sun, Aadam proudly posed for a snap alongside Gemma while they relaxed beside a swimming pool.
And the couple had previously been spotted dining together at the five star seafood restaurant Nammos. And while it is said to be early stages, Aadam is reportedly ‘smitten’ with his new girlfriend.

“They mix in the same circles, and she’s successful in her own right which appeals to him. They’re a lovely couple.” The new romance comes after Gemma recently split from professional polo player Tommy Severn, who she was linked to in August only for things to fizzle out the following month.
Gemma and Luca were paired together on Love Island in 2022 and made it all the way to the final - losing out to eventual winners Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. But Gemma and Luca’s love was not to last - as they split up in November last year after three months of dating in the outside world.
The split was said to have come as no surprise to the couple. A source told the MailOnline at the time: “In no way was Luca blindsided, they'd been on the rocks for quite a few weeks. They'd nearly split up quite a few times before this. Cracks had been forming the past few weeks, they brushed it over. They tried to go to Dubai to see if it would help but things didn't change.”
Gemma was also linked to rap star Bugzy Malone and rugby ace Jacques O'Neill around the time of her Love Island fame. It seems she is still looking for love that can last, however, and hopes now hang on Aadam being up to the challenge.
Before entering Love Island, Gemma explained why she was taking part, saying: “I am open to finding love, I’m wanting to have a really fun summer. I was seeing someone and then that didn’t work out so I thought, ‘Why not?’ … I would say I’m fun, flirty and fiery. I think I’m good at giving advice, I’m a good person to talk to, I’m very honest. If I want the same guy, I’d do it but in a nice respectful way.”
