The Only Way is Essex star Billie Faiers shared her proud mum moment as 9-year-old daughter Nelly prepared for her first fashion shoot.
The 33-year-old TV star shares three adorable children, Nelly, nine, Arthur, six, and newborn baby Margot, with her businessman husband Greg Shepherd, 38. The couple, who met back in 2011, tied the knot in 2019.
During an episode in their new series of Billie & Greg: The Family Diaries, which is currently airing on ITVBe, the doting mum and Greg beamed with pride as their daughter Nelly launched her clothing brand in partnership with Equidry and was set to model the two coats, one in blue and the other in pink, in front of the camera.
Gushing over her daughter's achievement, Billie said: "Today is a really big day for Nelly. It's the first time she's seeing the coat she's designed in real life." Asked if she was excited to reveal her unique clothing items to her friends, Nelly said she was looking forward to it but was annoyed her pink coat hadn't arrived before the shoot.
"Yeah, but I'm a bit annoyed the pink one hasn't arrived yet," she said while getting her hair done in the kitchen. Reassuringly, mum Billie said: "Sometimes with shoots things like that happen. It's frustrating but as soon as it's ready they'll send it to you." In the end, Nelly didn't let her frustration spoil her fun. She was all smiles as she posed for pictures at the family home in Essex.
Amy Childs prepared to get cruelly mum-shamed after big decision about her twinsOn Wednesday evening Billie uploaded the pictures of the shoot on Instagram. She captioned the snaps: "The first Nelly x @equidryuk coat is now live and available to buy online in Bambi Blue. We are so proud of Nelly she has designed this coat from scratch and has done such an amazing job.
She added: "The coat is available in all 12 sizes so that adults can wear it too, and you can use code NELLY for £10 off her collection. She hopes you all love it as much as she does. Nelly has been so excited for this coat 2 coming soon …" Under the post, her sister Sam Faiers wrote: "Wow xxxxx so proud. this is amazing xx"
A fan said: "What a proud moment mummy moment. Well done Nelly." A second person chimed in: "A big well done again to Nelly!! Her biggest achievement has finally came."
Reflecting on her big day, the TV star added: "Today is really special for her. It's her own thing, she's designed this coat. This could be the start of something big for her."
