NICK Pickard has revealed what REALLY happened the night Jamie Lynn Spears ‘decided to quit the jungle’ in scenes that were never shown on TV.
The Hollyoaks hunk, 48, explained that on the evening Britney Spears’ sister left ‘on medical grounds’, all of the stars were evacuated from camp after two days of non-stop rain showers.
Speaking to The Sun after being eliminated from the show last night, Nick told how Jamie Lynn struggled as torrential downpours lashed the jungle.
He recalled: “We had 12 days of rain and once for 48 hours, it did not stop. That was the night Jamie Lynn went and we had to all huddle in the Bush Telegraph, because the only place that's protected in there from the lightning as it’s reinforced with steel.
“So we're all in there, we were in there for ages. And that's when Jamie Lynn had the old like 'oh my god'. I think she told [the medic] just before that she was going on her medical grounds.

"That was the worst night by far, because it was just 48 hours non-stop."
Jamie Lynn crumbled in camp from day one over the agony of missing her children but on November 28, she was confirmed to have walked on “medical grounds”.
She managed to last 11 days in camp.
Speaking of that fateful night she quit, Nick continued: “We were even in the Bush Telegraph when the lightning came, so we couldn’t get out of there. When we did eventually get out after the lightning passed, it was still raining.
"How unlucky, because as soon as my girlfriend arrived, it was sunny straightaway. She’s just unbelievable - jammy cow!”
On the subject of Nick’s girlfriend, Sarah Corrin, he laughed as he revealed what she said to him about his newly-minted heartthrob status after spending so much time shirtless in the jungle.
“My girlfriend told me that It's a bit late in life to be becoming that I am nearly 50,” he smiled. “It’s nice to know though!”
And he insists he is in no rush to resurrect his Zoolander poses in his Channel 4 soap’s iconic Hollyoaks Hunks calendar, either.
Nick revealed: “Even in the calendar, I got binned off in the later years! When they started going abroad, I got told I was not in it.
