HOLLY Willoughby has given a rare insight into her life off screen.

The presenter, 41, usually keeps her family firmly out of the spotlight but opened up about spending time together in the latest newsletter for her Wylde Moon brand.

This Morning host Holly and husband Dan Baldwin are parents to Harry, 13, Belle, 11, and Chester, eight. The family are also proud owners of a Golden Retriever named Bailey.

Writing on her website, she confessed to struggling with everyday life like most parents.

Holly said: "Family time in general is always top of my list and something Dan and I prioritise above all else.

"If it’s not technology interrupting time together, or just simple the fact that my kids are growing older and are keen to start moving through life in their own little lanes, it’s sometimes a challenge to achieve that dedicated, quality time together in one space."

Holly added: "The dinner table is the one place we still manage to reunite and chat through the day.

"But it occurred to me when walking Bailey this week with Harry and listening to him talk non-stop, that just being out on a family walk is fast becoming another sacred opportunity to be together and catch up."

Holly and her This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield went on their usual Christmas break on 9 December and have been absent apart from a few pre-recorded episodes.

While viewers were expecting the duo to be back today, they were shocked when Josie Gibson and Andi Peters presented the Wednesday show.

Taking to Twitter to discuss their absence, one person sarcastically wrote: “I guess Holly and Phil are extremely tired after pre-recording the Christmas content several weeks ago #ThisMorning."

A second tweeted: “@thismorning just seen that Phil & Holly are STILL off on their Xmas break! Didn’t they finish 2 weeks before?! Now I see why they earn the big bucks NOT ???? #ThisMorning #Elitists.”
