DIANNE Buswell made a comment that fans thought was a swipe at another contestant during tonight's tense Strictly semi-final.

She started off by complimenting their competitors for giving it their all, before turning her focus to her dance partner.

Dianne then said: "He also has started from zero. He came to me with no dance experience.

"He's only 20 years old, which to me, blows my mind every single day."

Eagle-eyed viewers pointed out that the comment about Bobby taking on the show without prior experience might be a dig aimed at Layton Williams.

The contestant has come under fire for already being a trained dancer before coming on the show, which some fans feel makes the competition rigged.

The Strictly audience took to X to share their thoughts on Dianne's comment.

One person wrote: "Ohhh Dianne has chucked in a 'came to me with no dance experience', loving this tonight!"

Another backed her statement saying: "Well said Diane. Bobby has no dance experience and has been on a brilliant journey.

A third added: "Making the point about dance experience…"

This comes after some Strictly fans accused judge Motsi Mabuse of favouritism towards Layton.
