IT turns out Becky Hill has a superfan in Hollywood star Florence Pugh.

I’ve learned the Don’t Worry Darling actress spent Saturday night dancing and singing along to her songs at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard.

Florence, fresh back from Brazil, managed to get in and out of London’s O2 Arena without being spotted by fans and was able to let her hair down.

A source said: “Florence was at Jingle Bell Ball with some mates and she was living her best life.

“It turns out she’s a big fan of Becky and was word perfect during her performance.

“Florence spent the night in the Barclaycard Terrace and looked chuffed following a hectic year.”

Love Island’s Ekin-Su and Davide were also seen dancing to Alicia Keys and Tate McRae.

Just last week, Florence was in South America at a Comic Con event promoting her upcoming movie Dune: Part Two, when a fan threw an item at her and it hit her in the face.

She had been due to be promoting the flick around the world now, but the release date was pushed back from November to March 2024 due to the Hollywood strikes.

At least that gave her the opportunity to take a well-earned break back home— and let off some steam.

RAYE and Zara Larsson were down for a laugh as they geared up to perform on the second evening of the ball.

The pop pals were clearly glad to be reunited as they posed on the red carpet with big grins last night.

Rita Ora didn’t look quite so chuffed, doing her best blue steel in this sheer black gown, seemingly the colour of the night.

Fellow performers S Club, with Rachel Stevens, and Jazzy also opted for black, making it look like a showbiz send-off, rather than a celebration.

Other acts on the line-up for the closing night included Take That, Rudimental and Joel Corry.

Thankfully the atmosphere in the room wasn’t as gloomy as the outfits.

MARIAH CAREY brought out Jennifer Hudson and Ariana Grande as surprise guests during a show in New York.

They joined her festive concert at Madison Square Garden on Saturday for a rendition of Oh Santa.

Mariah wrote on X: “Grateful to have the gorgeous and talented, the Christmas angels join me.”

ALICIA KEYS said she was desperate to tap up some of the talent on the line-up for a collaboration.

The Empire State Of Mind singer, who performed on Saturday and Sunday, said: “I’m gonna need to go down the entire hallway.

“I’m gonna knock on everybody’s door, ‘It’s Alicia, you and me or what?’”

JAX JONES has hinted he will release songs with music legends Take That and Kylie Minogue in the New Year.

The DJ, who joined up with Calum Scott this year for Whistle, said: “I wanna collaborate with as many names as I can next year, whether it’s Take That, Kylie Minogue, more stuff with Callum, watch this space, it’s gonna be sick.

“I saw Gary Barlow the other day, man, he gave me a bottle of his red wine and we’re getting in the studio.”

Joel has a bath now and Den

JOEL CORRY has admitted that after a hard night DJing, he likes to unwind by watching TV in a bubble bath.

He told me: “Dragons’ Den is my go-to show.

“Whenever I get some down time after a gig I love to jump in a nice warm bubble bath and put on an episode.”

Joel, who has teamed up with Caity Baser, Ella Henderson and Rita Ora this year, is in talks to hit the studio with Tiesto.

He said of the dance legend: “We’ve been hanging out a bit in Ibiza and talked about making a track.”

Joel played the Jingle Bell Ball last night – but the O2 doesn’t have a bath so he may have waited to get home before having a soak.

It’s Sam v Wham! for top spot

SAM RYDER is battling Wham! for his first No1 single.

The former Eurovision contestant’s track has risen from No12 to No2 in the mid-week top 40 update, putting it just 800 copies behind George Michael and Andrew Ridgley’s 1984 festive classic which is on course to spend a second consecutive week at the top.

Sam’s tune You’re Christmas To Me, which is available only on Amazon Music, shot up the chart after he was revealed as Barclaycard's surprise guest at the ball on Saturday.

He told the crowd: “I can’t believe it’s been a year since you legends shot my debut album to No1.

“Merry Christmas you glorious animals.”

If Sam can get to the top spot it will beat his No2 finish with Space Man last year.

RICK ASTLEY is turning his hand to DJing by becoming a Radio 2 presenter.

The Never Gonna Give You Up singer will make his presenting debut on the station when he stands in for Gary Davies for episodes of Sounds Of The 80s on January 13 and 20 next year.

The signing, which comes after he co-hosted the programme last year, suggests the BBC station could be testing him out with the possibility of landing his own show.

Rick said: “I’m thrilled to be stepping into the shoes of the legend that is Gary Davies.

“I had a great time co-presenting the show last year and can’t wait to go solo for two weeks. Expect some of my favourite tracks from that decade  along with a few surprises.”

I imagine plenty of his own tunes will be getting a spin, too.

Boisterous Busted swat McFly

THE two bands were in supergroup McBusted for two years but BUSTED have now declared they are back to being firm rivals with McFLY.

Busted – James Bourne, Charlie Simpson and Matt Willis, left to right above – had a tongue-in-cheek dig when asked on the red carpet about their former pals.

Charlie said: “It’s not sneaky, it’s an absolute rivalry.”

James explained: “There’s no competition any more, we’re the clear-cut favourites.

“No one remembers them. People used to come up to me and say, ‘I like you but I also like McFly’.

“Now they just go, ‘I’m so glad you’re back’. They don’t say anything about them.”

Matt added: “Yeah, they say, ‘We like you and we like Tom Fletcher’s band. You know, the rest of those guys’.”

Awkward. For the record, it is Tom, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd.

Busted will be hoping to prove their superiority with their fifth studio album, which they are working on and have teased will get people on their feet.

Matt said: “We don’t really have any strict guidelines with what we’re making, so we’re just writing what we think is fun and exciting and cool.

“And if other people like it, great.”

Charlie called the new songs “bangers”.

And Matt added: “They are bangers, aren’t they? I don’t want to jinx it but they’re really, really good.”

LITTLE MIX fans don’t have long to wait for more music from one of the band.

Perrie Edwards will be launching her solo career in early 2024.

I’m told she has been hard at work and is finally ready to premiere her debut solo single.

Meanwhile, her bandmate Jade Thirlwall has been enjoying her down time a bit too much.

She revealed on Instagram that her mum messaged her personal trainer at 2am last week to tell him Jade wouldn’t be able to make it to their training session the following day – because she was too drunk.

Sharing a screenshot of the conversation, Jade wrote: “Hysterical, humiliating and humbling.”
