2023 is almost over, and that means it’s time to look back on everything we’ve done.
Just like Spotify, all of the major consoles are giving players stats on all the games they’ve played this year.

These include games played on both Windows PC via the Xbox app and Xbox consoles.
Here’s how you can take a look at your Xbox Year in Review.

Xbox Year in Review shows you stats based on the types of games you played, and how long you’ve played them for.
It also shows your total playtime, the genres of games you’ve played, and how many achievements you’ve earned.
The review then compares your stats with other Xbox players, and finally gives you more detailed stats, such as rarest achievement for your top three most-played games.
How to find your Xbox Year in Review?
There are two ways that you can log in and check out your Xbox Year in Review.
If you want to view your stats on PC, then you can follow these steps:
- Visit the Xbox Year in Review website
- Log in with the Microsoft account you use for your Xbox (you may need to verify your email for this)
- The website should refresh and you should be able to see your stats
If you check your stats via your console, it can make it easier to log in. If you want to do this follow these steps.
- Turn on your Xbox and find the Year in Review tile (we found it in the Game Pass tab)
- It will then show you a QR code to scan with your phone
- Once scanned, click on the link and your stats should be available
This second method ensures that you will be logged in to the Microsoft account that is tied to your Xbox, which might be easier.
How is Xbox Year in Review calculated?
Xbox tracks the data from your console and PC and checks the games you play and how long you play them for.
It then compares this with the data from other players to calculate your stats compared to other players.
