Dan Osborne paraded his dramatic new look after becoming the latest star to undergo a hair transplant.
Jacqueline Jossa's husband and former TOWIE star Dan says he made the decision because he couldn't shift the feeling of paranoia and clearly he doesn't regret a thing. The 32-year-old went under the knife and showed off the impressive results - and he couldn't stop smiling, weeks after opening up about his insecurities.
He had the transplant at the British Hair Clinic in Brentwood, Essex, with stars like Kirk Norcross, Conor Benn, Neil 'Razor' Ruddock and Jamie Lomas all leaning on Celebrity surgeon Dr Zabeeh. Dan said that he knew a lot of people would tell him he didn't "need" one but says it was something he just had to do.
He admitted that the unevenness of the corners of his hairline made him feel "paranoid" and he'd been determined to get the issue rectified for a while. "Can you believe it I am at the British Hair Clinic," a smiling Dan told his followers excitedly on Instagram. "I know a lot of people have said to me 'you don't need a hair transplant' but I want to get these little corners sorted out."
"It's bugged me for a long time and it's something I've wanted to get sorted out and something I'm paranoid about. "So if you're paranoid about something and it plays on your mind you might as well get it fixed." He added: "If you are interested and it's something you are looking to do then head over to British Hair Clinic and get yourself booked in for a consultation," the star added.
Jacqueline Jossa has glam makeover after breaking silence on split rumoursDr Zabeeh explained: "Dan's FUE hair transplant procedure was a straight forward and successful one. Hair loss of the existing non-transplanted hair can be exacerbated due to high levels of DHT in their blood. DHT is a form of testosterone responsible for classic male pattern hair loss. Fit young men who train regularly have slightly elevated levels meaning they are more likely to have hair loss due to higher DHT levels.
"This means, without non-surgical management of the non-transplanted hair, they may need to come back in a few years to have further surgery. Dan was advised to maintain his existing hair using a combination of medication and Platelet Rich Plasma treatment," he went on.
Jacqueline and Dan last month shot back at speculation their marriage could be troubled after cryptic social media posts raised eyebrows. The 30-year-old EastEnders actress and her hubby have been in a relationship for 10 years and have been married since 2017 - and have welcomed two daughters together.
Their marriage has not, however, been plain sailing - and has been rocked by accusations of cheating and Jac has even admitted to needing to spend time away from the family home due to accusations about her husband being unfaithful. Jac has dismissed speculation their marriage was in trouble due to the fact neither she nor Dan their wedding bands. She told The Sun: “We just never wear them. I just don’t wear it. If I’m going out or have a special event, I’ll wear it. But if not, I just always forget. It’s also a bit tight. Because, you know, I used to be skinny and now I’m not."
