The plush piece took up nearly the entire living room and the TV star had covered it in crisp new cushions.
Ferne McCann showed off her new luxurious sofaSharing a video of the sofa, she 'karate chopped' the pillows, giving them a crease in the top.
She also had a matching coffee table which she'd placed a wooden tray and baubles on top of.
While many were complimentary of her new piece of furniture, some called her out on an interior design faux pas.
Amy Childs prepared to get cruelly mum-shamed after big decision about her twins"Never understand the chopping of cushions trend," one wrote.
"Kelly hoppen always says don’t karate chop cushions but I still do that too!" said another.
"Do away with chopped cushions hun....looks untidy," echoed a third.
"Why chopping of the cushions?" agreed a fourth, while one pointed out: "Its beautiful but definitely the wrong colour with 2 small kids and a dog".
Speaking to fans about the house makeover, she said that parting with her old sofa was a tough decision as she "gave birth" on it.
"We upgraded our sofa, it's been a long time coming. I've only ever had once sofa since moving out of my mums," she said on Instagram, holding baby Finty.
"But you know with furniture, I don't know if anyone else feels this or gets this but furniture's quite like sentimental.
"That sofa held a lot of memories and I still can't get rid of it," she added.
"We've put it in our garage. But I even gave birth to this little madam so I just felt like I couldn't get rid of it."
"But it was time to upgrade. Like when people come around for a little cup of tea and sat right in the position where I gave birth I thought no, it's time for an upgrade."
Gemma Collins breaks down in tears and left shaking with emotion on holidayThe former Towie star recently welcomed her second daughter with fiance Lorri Haines.

Ferne recently revealed a strict rule for her children that she has for Christmas day.
Ferne insists her children can only open their gifts once they've all had breakfast together.
Speaking to One4all Gift Cards about her new and old traditions, Ferne said: "The funny thing about Christmas is you don’t realise how unique everyone’s celebrations are until you become a blended family.
"You find yourselves having to decide which childhood traditions you want to carry on keeping the magic alive.
"We’ve got this one rule we always stick to – no opening presents until after breakfast.
"It builds up the excitement, and, trust me, it's worth the wait just to see the kids light up knowing Santa got their letter in the post."
One reader insisted: "Late morning for me but first thing for my kids. Anyone making children wait until the afternoon is just cruel."
Another agreed, writing: "Always the morning. Always! Waiting til after lunch seems so mad to me."
