Neco Williams says Nottingham Forest are one victory away from turning their season around.
The Wales international was part of Steve Cooper’s squad that managed to overcome a similar poor run last season before they escaped from trouble. Forest still enjoy a points' cushion over the sides in the relegation zone - but they have now won just once in their last 13 outings. And the frustration is growing.
Williams said: “We’re not looking over our shoulders - we’re still a long way from the end of the season - there’s a lot of games to play. At the minute, we’re in a dip of form, but things can change so quickly and the perfect opportunity for that is our next game. We need to start picking up results.
“You can’t question the effort. We work hard. We are sticking to the plan. It’s not going for us. One’s been kicked off the line, we’ve hit the post, we had a goal disallowed.
“We just need to get a win. Once we do that, we’ll kick on. It’s so easy and quick to get out of that dip with a win but we do need one. We went through this before last season. We learned how to get through it. We’re going to do that this year, as well.

As soon as we are out of this little dip, we’ll be fine, we’ve got the quality in the team, it’s just getting that win and building from there.”
