Taylor Swift has wrapped up her final Eras Tour show of 2023 with a big announcement to fans - but not the one they wanted.

The 33-year-old singer revealed to fans at her Sao Paulo, Brazil show that she will be refreshing her list of secret songs for the 2024 shows.

The star announced on her first show of the huge tour that she would be performing two surprise acoustic songs at every show. And at Sunday's concert, the star revealed she would be resetting her list for the tours in 2024.

Swifties have been buzzing with anticipation as Taylor Swift has been hinting at a major announcement. Fans are speculating that the pop star will reveal the release date for Reputation (Taylor's Version), her re-recorded album, on November 26th.

One fan on the internet explained: "Tomorrow's show is the 66th show on Eras Tour and the 13th international date," highlighting Taylor's known love for numbers, especially the number 13.

According to the same fan, the second reason for the excitement was the "backward countdown theory." Another fan explained this theory in a separate post, saying: "The theory is that yesterday she performed a 1989 TV track, then a Speak Now TV track, and today's first was (technically) a Red TV track, and then a Fearless TV track, so if that girl was right then tomorrow is debut and reputation tracks, and we all know what rep track is left."

The third reason was: "Taylor is wearing surprise song dresses that represent the Brazilian flag, and tomorrow she'll be wearing the GREEN dress," linking to the symbolism of snakes and the colour green.

"Safe and Sound and Untouchable were released 12/26 and 10/26, respectively," was the fourth point. The fifth point mentioned: "11/26 is National Cake Day. Remember the IBYTAM [I Bet You Think About Me] cake [in the music video] is full of 26s."

The next reason stated: "Snake Island in Sao Paulo shape looks like Taylor as a mountain in the Karma MV," This referred to the Karma music video where Taylor's face and body were morphed into a mountain. Another reason given was: "She is also doing a similar countdown to 1989 where she sang two Rep songs in a row, leaving only I Did Something Bad."

The final reason said: "In the Midnight Rain (the 6th track [on Midnights]), she did the KOMH roll from the Rep tour," This refers to a dance move Taylor did on the Reputation tour when singing King Of My Heart.

Someone else added on the same social platform: "Nov 26th 2023 being the final Eras show of the year and New Year's Day released as a single on Nov 27th 2017... Today is New Year's Eve." The last clue that Reputation TV might be coming is that Taylor sang two surprise songs last night with lyrics similar to two tracks from Reputation.
