MANY couples spend hours planning their perfect wedding, from the ideal location to their dream outfits.

And it’s often an excuse for everyone to be dressed to the nines, especially the bride and groom.

However, one wedding left people shocked when the groom showed up looking very casual indeed.

While the bride looked sensational in an expensive-looking bridal gown, her chap had opted for a plain, black T-shirt and a pair of jeans.

But that wasn’t the most “offending” part of his outfit, believe it or not.

Two snaps were shared from the wedding day on Reddit, and people were horrified at the fact he was wearing Crocs on his feet.

A guest uploaded the photos with the caption: “A couple in my town got married and this was the groom's reception attire.”

Many people were just as shocked by the fact he looked like he had made very little effort for his big day.

One person wrote: “Once again, it's fine if you want a casual the effort put in by the bride into her appearance suggests it is not casual.

“And even so, casual doesn't have to mean sloppy and Crocs.”

The poster replied, saying: “The crocs really got to me. Some nicer shoes, I would’ve let it slide.”

Another person even claimed the shoe choice could be an indicator of their relationship.

They said: “In every relationship, imbalance in effort is an imbalance in happiness.”

A third went as far as to say: “Cause for an immediate annulment.”

However, some Reddit users asked if the bride was happy, and the poster replied that she had seemed to be on the day.
