Customers can now snap up three entry-level models for several thousands of pounds less than they were this year.

The revamped lineup features new trim levels for the Tonale, Giulia and Stelvio models, all of which have had their prices revised down.

The Ti trim formerly available on the Tonale has been scrapped, with all three models now available in Sprint or Veloce variants at the basic level.

Beyond that, the Tonale range will be topped by two hybrid versions, while the other two are capped off by double turbocharged Qaudrifoglio variants.

Alfa is also set to release special Tributo Italiano examples of the Giulia and Stelvio in the middle of their respective ranges.

The shift has been accompanied by a revised pricing structure.

In practical terms, the Tonale Sprint is £4,025 cheaper than the old Ti at £35,995.

The equivalent Giulia is now £39,995 while the Stelvio Sprint is £45,595, cuts of £3,300 and £1,760 respectively.

At the top end, the hybrid Tributo version of the Tonale is £51,995 while the Quadrifoglio Giulia is £78,195 and the equivalent Stelvio is £87,195, though Alfa hasn't announced whether this is a reduction on previous versions.

Alfa Romeo has been contacted for comment.

It comes after Audi pulled one of its models from UK sale after it proved too popular.

Meanwhile, learners were warned over driving test scams which could cost them hundreds.
