JESS Impiazzi has opened up about her difficult year for the first time.
The actress started off 2023 in a happy relationship with Jermaine Pennant, trying for a baby but was forced to dump him after reports he had spent the night with a dominatrix.
Jess, 34, was left heartbroken by the news – and at the time she was undergoing IVF treatment to start a family with Jermaine.
Taking to Instagram last night, Jess addressed her tough time as she finished peforming in panto.
Sharing a picture with the cast, she wrote: “And 2023… that’s a wrap!
Ex-Premier League star, 39, declared bankrupt after racking up £1m debts
“I can’t say it’s been a good one, continuous health issues and constant hospital appointments and everything else going on but I wouldn’t have got through the end of it without this lot."
The former reality star continued: “Here’s to a better 2024! Accepting what is, what comes and what goes, to adapting and moving forward holding faith that there is so much to look forward too.”
Earlier this month, The Sun told how Jess was told by pals that ex-footballer Jermaine, 40, had taken an adult entertainer to his hotel room on a wild stag do in Ibiza.
The flame-haired dominatrix — booked through event planners Chillisauce — had put on an S&M performance for the stags before partying with the group at the Spanish isle’s Eden nightclub.
Sources claimed that Jermaine was “the last man standing” and alleged he took her back to the hotel room he was sharing with another member of the party.
She tried to move on from the incident, which happened in May, but recently learned Pennant — who has admitted to cheating on multiple partners in the past — had been sending flirty messages to other women.
The Celebrity SAS star denied any wrongdoing.
But Jess — who was diagnosed with autoimmune condition lupus in July — ended their two-year relationship earlier this month.
On top of everything else, Jess was told she was suffering from lupus at the start of the year.
It is a serious autoimmune condition, in which the body’s immune system attacks its own tissue and organs.
