THE Chase fans ripped into presenter Bradley Walsh's reaction to a contestant's VERY poor cash builder.
ITV viewers expressed their disbelief as the TV presenter told a player they are much better than they are.
Player Sean managed to only get one question right in his first cash builder round accumulating £1000.
Bradley, 63, was confident in Sean and insisted "he's a better player than that".
The Chase viewers took to X (Twitter) and fumed at Bradley's reaction to contestant Sean efforts after the presenter said his famous catchphrase: "you're better player than that".

One fan wrote: "Love it when they say… 'You’re better than that'. He’s really not."
Another raged: "NO! SEAN is NOT a 'better player than that!' He got a £1000 in the cashbuilder. #TheChase If he gets through to the final chase it will be on guesses!"
A third chimed: "If he was a better player he would have got more."
Unfortunately, Sean was caught by chaser Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan in his second round.
And again, he only managed to answer one question correctly. So, he was sent home prematurely.
Meanwhile, fans at home thought it would have been better if Sean went for the lower minus offer.
Usually fans rip into contestants who go for the minus offer, but it seemed to be the better and only option for Sean.
Taking to X again, one viewer said: "Sean ffs. That was appalling. Should have took the minus and car crash them answers son."
Another joked: "Surely Sean, as an Everton fan, should have taken the minus ten offer?"
The Chase airs weekdays from 5pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
