David and Victoria Beckham will throw “the Godmother of all parties” to mark a hat-trick of massive milestones this year.
The first comes on April 17, when fashion designer and mum-of-four Victoria reaches the big 5-0. The second is Posh and Becks’ silver wedding anniversary on July 4. And six days later, on July 10, their daughter Harper will celebrate becoming a teenager.
Some 25 years have passed since David and Victoria married at a lavish ceremony in a castle near Dublin, Ireland, in 1999.
The Beckhams are determined to make their anniversary party “unforgettable” – and have joked it may even give son Brooklyn’s opulent 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz, a billionaire’s daughter, a run for its money.
One source said: “There have been conversations about a blowout party to really give guests something to remember. A silver wedding anniversary is a real cause to celebrate – and it’s not often a family marks one of those in the same year as a 50th and a 13th.”
Beckham's Inter Miami plan dealt first blow which could block Messi transfer“David and Victoria are such family-orientated people. It means everything to them, so it’s a great opportunity. They are still at the ideas stage, but it is likely to be in the summer, close to the anniversary and Harper’s birthday.
“They will have their work cut out rivalling Brooklyn’s wedding, but there is no doubt it will be a truly fantastic night. They are talking about it as ‘the Godmother’ of all parties.”
The source added that fashion designer Victoria is keen to whip up a special outfit to wear to the bash. The pal added: “This will be a real occasion, and Victoria is keen to design the perfect dress for it, to show what she can do.”
News of the party comes after the couple poked fun at themselves in a nod to a viral moment from their Netflix documentary, Beckham, which was released in October.
In the mini-series, David, 48, can be seen poking his head around the door to remind his wife that her dad used to own a Rolls-Royce.
And in the latest clip, Victoria hilariously wears a T-shirt reading ‘My Dad Had a Rolls-Royce’ while David appears to remind her that they are appearing in not a small, but a big commercial for Uber Eats during the Super Bowl.
